Company Profile

STI Technologies Inc. is a mechanical engineering consulting firm specializing in finite element analysis (FEA), computational fluid dynamics (CFD), advanced analytical techniques, experimentation, technology development, failure analysis, and design optimization for life prediction, reliability, and performance enhancement of turbomachinery, industrial machine systems and mechanical structures/components.

STI is an ANSYS Software Support Distributor for finite element users. In portions of the US and Canada, we are responsible for training, technical support, and sales for this universally used engineering FEA code.

STI is a member of the PCB Group. The PCB Group flagship - PCB Piezotronics - is a world leader in test and measurement solutions and a leading manufacturer of piezoelectric sensors and instrumentation products. PCB Group maintains a variety of operations that parallel STI's technology base, thus the PCB/STI affiliation boosts STI's network of industry experts and strengthens the experimental, diagnostic testing, and instrumentation capabilities.

STI utilizes state-of-the-art analytical techniques (CFD, FEA) as well as mechanical testing (vibration, modal, strain gage) to offer our customers a superior, cost-effective solution to achieve machinery performance goals. We perform:

  • Design analysis and simulation
  • Reliability and performance enhancement
  • Remaining life assessment
  • Failure analysis
In addition to the many years of research performed for the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) and the U.S. Air Force, we have completed hundreds of major projects for both equipment manufacturers and end users.
